This shows the latest issued Flood Guidance Statement. This is taken from the Environment Agency real-time flood monitoring API, shortly after it is issued by the Flood Forecasting Centre. | Surface | The surface water flood risk is LOW from today (Thursday) until Saturday. Minor surface water flooding impacts are expected on Friday and Saturday and are probable today (Thursday). Minor surface water flooding is also possible more widely across England and Wales from today until Sunday. See Areas of Concern Maps. Impacts could include localised flooding from urban and fast responding smaller watercourses/catchments, drains, channels and flooding from overland flow. |

| Coastal | The coastal/tidal flood risk is VERY LOW for the next five days. Minor coastal flooding impacts are possible along the south coast of Devon and the Dorset coast on Friday and Saturday and possible but not expected around parts of the coast of England today (Thursday) and Friday due to high tides and large waves resulting from strong winds. Impacts may include isolated spray on low-lying roads and coastal promenades. |

| Groundwater | The groundwater flood risk is VERY LOW for the next five days. Minor groundwater flooding impacts are possible but not expected in parts of England from Sunday. |
